What Color or Race is Jesus?

I hear some people debate this issue but cannot understand why they do this? You will not get that answer here either because I do not care. I used these words because it would help in the search engine and this issue does need to be addressed.

If someone is concerned about the color or race of Jesus than they are missing the complete teaching of the bible. Christians do not care and are not concerned about this. If this is something that you think about than you really need to evaluate your relationship with Jesus.

If you love Jesus than the thought of race or color would not be in your heart.

True Christian Forgiveness

As a Christian what does it mean to forgive? It is sad to say that some use it so much but it has no meaning behind it. It flows from their mouth but it lacks sincerity that must come from their heart or spirit.

As a Christian, we must serve God from our heart. It is easy to ramble on a bunch of words and we may be able to deceive some people. But we can never trick or deceive God. He knows our heart.

It is easy to say you are a Christian but are you really a Christian in your heart? It is easy to say you forgive but do you really forgive in your heart?

I heard a pastor make an excellent statement the other day. To truly forgive means you restore that person to where the reason for forgiveness never happened. In other words, to forgive must mean that you must treat that person as if the event of forgiveness never happened. Can you do that? Jesus did!!

When God forgives us He remembers our sins no more and he never uses that sin against us again. We must do the same. It is important to remember that when you ask for forgiveness than you should also put your past or sins behind you and never look back at them. Just as God forgives us, we must do the same.

Luke 9:62
62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

II Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Hebrews 8:12
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Here are a few ways to tell if you are still holding unforgiveness toward someone.
  • Can you honestly pray for that person with comfort and love?
  • Can you say their name in prayer with comfort and love?
  • Can you be around or socialize with that person and enjoy being with them?
  • Can you hug them with love?
If you answered “no” to any of these than there is a good chance you have not honestly forgiven them.

Why should we forgive?

Jesus tells us we must forgive to be forgiven. If you do not forgive others than God will not forgive you of your sins. Seriously, why should God forgive you if you refuse to forgive?

Matthew 6: 14-15
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Mark 11:25-26
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Luke 6:37
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

So what does it mean if you do not forgive others? Well, it is really simple. As Jesus told us above, if you do not forgive than God will not forgive you. If you are not forgiven by God than that means you are still living in sin. What happens if you are living in sin? You are heading for hell and will not see Heaven.

1 Corinthians 6: 9
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? …

I will also mention that if you have not forgiven and you are holding hate towards that person than you are also considered a murder according to Jesus and do I need to say what that means.

1 John 3:14-15
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

So it is important to truly forgive from your heart in order to go to Heaven.

If you have problems forgiving than ask God to help you forgive in prayer and be sincere about it. God will help you. Also, ask Him to show you any people you may not have forgiven that you forgot. We may still have unforgiveness toward someone from our past but not consciously aware of it.  God will help you bring that to light. All you have to do is ask. There are numerous scriptures where He tells us to call upon Him for help. Ask and you shall receive.

After you pray, sit in silence and listen to him. He will talk to you. He will show you any hidden hatred or bitterness you may still have toward someone. It is important to not only talk to God but to listen to him.

Will Everyone go to Heaven?

I hear people make the statement, "he/she is in a better place now." But the truth is that most people have not gone to a better place.

Jesus made a few comments that show not everyone will make it to Heaven.

First, He said the road to Heaven is narrow and the road to Hell is wide. That means that more people in this world are going to Hell. Not something we want to hear. But the great thing is that if you are reading this than you still have a chance to go to Heaven.

Matthew 7;13-14 -  13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat. 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The road to Heaven is narrow because there are fewer on the road to Heaven. The road to Hell is wide because there will be more traveling that road.

Second, Jesus said that he does not know you. Why is that? It is because you must have a personal relationship with Him.

Matthew 7:21-24 - 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Why did Jesus say "I never knew you?" It is because it is one thing to say you believe in Him but you also must listen to Him. In verse 24 he said you HEAR and DO what He says. Have you submitted to God's will for your life?"

So back to where we started. Not everyone will go to Heaven. What you think or believe does not matter at all. The only thing that matters is what God says. That is it. The story ends.

But as I mentioned above, you still have a chance. It is God's will for everyone to be saved.

Matthew 18:14 - Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

John 6:37 - All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

So do not sit back and believe everyone is going to Heaven. There is not one scripture to back that up. All you need to do is submit your life to Him and be sincere about it. Next you need to honestly seek His will out in your life. Trust in Him and He will not let you down.

Why I Believe in GOD

I believe in God because I choose to believe. It is my choice and I honestly do believe that He exists.

Science teaches that we all started from the big bang theory. There are 2 ways to look at how we got here. Do we believe that a power greater than us created us or that we came from nothing.

I am not a scientist but I do not think something can be created from nothing. Where did the matter come from that created the big bang? Let's go backwards. Where did the molecules come from that created that matter? Where did the atoms come from? We can just keep going backwards. If we believe in the big bang than at some point something had to evolve from nothing. Can that happen? Can an atom form in a vacuum? At some point the universe had to be void of anything. As I said, I am no scientitsit, but I want to see proof of atoms created from nothing. Our minds are limited and there is  a lot we do not know and may never know.

So now you may ask, how did God come to be. The bible states that God has always been. As I mentioned above, where did the first atom come from. At some point it had to have a beginning and we tend to think the same thing about God. I cannot answer that question and neither can you. But I choose to believe the a power greater than us (who I believe to be God) created everything instead of believing atoms created their self.

Does evolution exists? Not in the sense that science teaches but I do believe animals and humans adapt to their surrounding. I do not believe we came from the sea. What came first, the chicken or the egg? If you believe in the creation than you know that the chicken came first. Man was created as a man and animals in the same pattern. Since the environment changes we either must adapt or die out. Some animals have died because they did not adapt.

So the bottom line is to believe in what you want. I choose to believe in God and that we are all a creation. What you believe is your choice. What is so comical is when some poepl get so upset when they cannot get others to follow their belief. I do not judge someone if they do not believe in God but I do pray for them.
